WOP...wiblaha(thanks in UmonHon) for coming to share today and saying the things that need to be said and talking about issues that need to be talked about. There were conversations kid to kid and adult to kid that happened today that maybe would have never happened if you all didn't come to the Omaha Indian Reservation. The silence was broken and my prayer is that all of you will be blessed for your efforts sharing to others that there is hope to bounce back in life and that people struggling with different things are not alone. Have had parents tell me that their kids enjoyed the assembly today. That means the kids were talking about it with parents, which is positive!!! Several kids told me it was the best they had been to and thanked me for taking them to it. Thanks for thinking of us up here. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Hey...I really appreciate you all coming out to FHS today and speaking to us. It was a real eye opener in the fact that there are people out there willing to listen and be there for you...I also really liked the way you guys go around and do this. It's an amazing thing and I really do appreciate you for it. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Warriors of Purpose live up to their name. The members arrived on our campus eager to engage, interact and connect with our students. They were each approachable and embraced the lines of fans. Their presentation told of experiences were all unique, which allowed so many of our students to have deeply personal connections to the Warriors and their message. The Warriors of Purpose event was successful in addressing a number of very serious, difficult conversations while providing so much hope and support to our students. We look forward to the opportunity to bring this event back to our campus.
