Sheri LaBrant
Amazing Race

Picture
Sheri LaBrant is known around for her surprsing finish in the CBS hit reality TV show, Amazing Race and for being the mom to social media star, Cole LaBrant. Sheri and her son Cole (aka @thesupercole) competed against 10 other teams in a race around the world for a $1 million grand prize. Sheri and Cole were underdogs throughout the whole race, they worked hard, had fun, and finished in second place. Although finishing as runners-up, Sheri and Cole grabbed the attention of fans and have since been running the amazing race of life with a new platform and millions of followers world-wide.

Sheri has been married to her husband Ken for 26 years and has 6 beautiful children; Luke (22), Cole (20), Jack (18), Clay (17), Tate (10), and Lily (7). As a stay-at-home mom for 22 years, Sheri has devoted her life to raising her family and taking care of a bustling home of 8. Although being a mother was a full-time job, Sheri jokes that when she wasn’t pregnant or nursing, she enjoyed her time working part-time as a hair dresser, Zumba Instructor, Pound Fit Instructor, and running her own on-line business selling homemade products.

Currently, Sheri has many hobbies and interests and finds time to substitute teach at the local schools, serve in the community, and has taken classes to get her cosmetology license reinstated. Sheri is passionate about helping people help themselves, and facilitating their growth as individuals. Whether consulting, counseling or serving others, she is always looking for ways to impact people and change the world one life at a time.

Sheri speaks to students all across the country about opening up with their struggles and encourages them to find a support system that can help them succeed. Sheri stated, “Every person is unique and perfect. Every student needs to know that they are beautiful and talented and made exactly how they were supposed to be made. Sometimes students feel the pressure of being someone they are not, or comparing themselves to others. This will create a feeling of insecurity and ineptness and will gradually lead young people down an unhealthy path of depression and anxiety. I want all students to know how perfect and beautiful they are and to encourage them to walk tall and confidently in who they are as a person, not who they wish they were or who they think others want them to be.”
